Turn Coat

Well I justed finished Jim Butcher's "Turn Coat" the latest in the Dresden Files fantasy series. This one seems a bit more grim than the last couple of books. The black council makes a major move and Harry and his friends and family are left to pick up the pieces. Thomas is captured and tortured so badly he may never be the same while Harry's love life also takes a turn for the worst. I wonder what will happen next?

New Fantasy Fiction

I just finished reading Anne Bishop's "Shadow Queen : A Black Jewel Novel." The main focus of this novel is not just the further adventures of the SaDiablo family but also of Cassie a light jeweled queen sent to the Dene Nehle territory to restore balance to the land the Grayhaven inheritence. This book ties in with the other Black Jeweled novels and an older book called the Invisible Ring. I enjoyed this addition to the series.
